Chicago DUI Lawyers Advise: New Illinois DUI Laws Get Tougher
A major change in DUI laws will go into effect on January 1st 2009 which will increase the penalties for DUI and make it far more difficult to keep your driving privileges if found guilty of DUI. The new law doubles the suspensions to your driver’s license and will require all first offender DUI drivers to install a BAIID device on their cars for 6-12 months if they want to driving during the suspension period.
