Our Chicago Lawyers found another odd arrest for drunken driving this past weekend. Apparently a Delaware man was stopped for speeding when the sheriff’s deputy noticed a strong odor of alcohol coming from the man’s breath and, oh yeah, that the man wasn’t wearing any pants.

We’ve reported on people receiving multiple DUIs over a short period of time before, (Woman Arrested For DUI 4 Times In 3 Weeks) but we don’t believe that our Chicago Attorneys have ever seen something this crazy before:

Our Chicago DUI Attorneys have followed up on the most recent Kane County “no refusal” weekend and found that one man who refused to give up his constitutional rights was charged with felony DUI. This case may end up deciding the future of “no refual” weekends.

DUI crackdown in Kane County leads to 8 arrests

A weekend crackdown in Elgin netted eight suspected drunken drivers, including a man who was charged with a felony after he declined to provide a breath or blood sample after being served with a warrant.

The outcome of that man’s case could decide whether future “no refusal” stings are carried out, Kane County State’s Atty. John Barsanti said today.

“If we don’t get back-up from the courts, then maybe ‘no refusal’ doesn’t work in Kane County,” Barsanti said.

Our Illinois DUI Attorneys want to alert everyone to the coming changes in Wisconsin in regards to drunk driving penalties. Presently, Wisconsin is one of the softest States on first time DUIs. However, that may all change come this September.

State Legislature expected to take action to combat drunk driving

MADISON (WKOW) — This September, Wisconsin’s State Legislature is expected to take up bills that would strengthen laws against drunk driving.

Increasing pressure has been placed upon Wisconsin lawmakers to take action given that Wisconsin’s laws against drunk driving are among the weakest in the country.

Kane County “No Refusal” DUI Strike Force Back This Weekend

Share on TwitterShare on TumblrSubmit to StumbleUponSave on Delicious

America, the Land of the free, is celebrating her birthday this weekend. So what better time than now to violate your Constitutional rights? This weekend, during a “no refusal” sting, the Kane County State’s Attorney will collaborate with local police to strip citizens of their rights and violate the Constitution ban against unreasonable search and seizure.

Our DUI Attorneys have learned that over the next few days, special drunk driving task forces will be roving Kane county to ensure that anyone that they deem to be driving in a “suspicious” manner will be forced to give blood. These “no refusal” weekends have already failed before (Chicago DUI Attorneys Examine Kane County DUI Crackdown), but apparently that’s not going to stop the over-zealous Kane County prosecutor from trying again. Happy Birthday, America!

July 4 holiday to be ‘no refusal’ weekend
By The CHRONICLE

The Kane County State’s Attorney will collaborate with local police this holiday weekend to hold accountable those suspected drunken drivers who try to avoid prosecution by refusing to submit to a lawfully requested BAC test.

A man accused of drunken driving allegedly attempted to bribe the police officer with a “complete radon gas cleansing system,” along with other bizarre behavior during his arrest, according to the police report.

Driver exhibited bizarre behavior

Randall Sisk, 47, was arrested for drunken driving just before 9 p.m. Thursday in his driveway, in the 3600 block of Driver’s Way, after police received two complaints about his red Corvette in the Golfview Subdivision.

Police said Sisk complained his arrest was a set-up, had a conversation with his wife on speakerphone as the officer attempted to question him, accused the officer of ruining his life, flirted with the nurse drawing his blood, introduced himself to random people while leaving the hospital and tried to shake their hands despite being handcuffed behind his back.
