Chicago woman sues alleged drunk driver for crashing into her apartment
Plaintiff Sherlinda McBride alleges that, on September 11, 2007, Defendant Shelia Steele “was operating a motor vehicle in a northbound direction on Burley Avenue when she drove the vehicle onto the curb and into the apartment unit occupied by Plaintiff.”
The complaint further states that the defendant was under the influence of alcohol and her vehicle “collided with the aforesaid apartment unit causing Plaintiff to be thrown violently about the room.”
