2nd DUI For Ice Cream Truck Driver
If you live in or around Valley Center, Kansas, the sound of the ice cream truck in the summer might also be followed by the sound of police sirens. Our Chicago DUI Lawyers have learned of a report of out of Kansas indicates that a 42-year-old was arrested in February after a police officer saw Martindale hit a curb in front of Wheatland Elementary School and then swerve into another lane.
Ice Cream Truck Driver Sentenced For DUI

A Valley Center ice cream truck driver will spend time in jail for working under the influence.
Robert Martindale plead no contest Wednesday night to DUI and refusing a breathalyzer. The municipal judge dismissed the wreckless driving charge and then sentenced Martindale to two days in jail and three days of house arrest. Martindale will also have to pay a $1,000 fine.
This is the ice cream truck driver’s second DUI conviction.
